Speaker Bio:
Karla Faundez is a results-driven entrepreneur who always seeks real life solutions and a common sense approach to business, with the integrity needed to facilitate sensitive challenges. With over 20 years of Human Resources experience, she has the ability to deliver practical, hands-on, easy-to-implement human resources and business strategies that elevates organizational performance to new heights.
Prior to launching ELEVA Solutions, Inc. in 2007, she was Principal at RealInsight LLC for three years. This outsourcing consulting firm provided innovative HR solutions for small to midsized companies. She assisted clients with employee communications, development of organizational policies, employee relations, maintaining appropriate HR state and federal compliance practices, facilitated training initiatives and developed HR strategies in line with clients’ company culture.
Her corporate experience includes serving as the Director of Human Resources for a well-established, multi-state education management company that provided HR support and guidance to over 2000 employees; as the HR Administrator within the banking industry in Virginia; an Assistant HR Manager for a global containerized shipping line in New Jersey and as an HR Specialist in the retail industry in Miami, Florida.
