Speaker Bio:
Myrtha Wroy, MSM, is a senior-level business consultant with expertise in program, project, and contract management; federal procurement, acquisition and compliance with public sector and government opportunities, grants and policies, with tenure in international and domestic development, enablement and procurement for the construction, aviation, nuclear power plant, and other major industries. She is the founder and lead consultant at Wroy Consulting, a Miami-based firm that works with emerging and established businesses, preparing them to expand their lines of business and revenue streams by qualifying for federal, state and/or local contracts and opportunities, turning them into sustainable parts of the public sector supply chain.
Prior to starting her consultancy, Myrtha’s career spanned over 28 years designing and leading country infrastructure, aviation, construction, energy and other projects with budgets in the billions in the public and private sectors in North and Central Africa, and throughout the U.S. Myrtha has managed teams and processes dedicated to federal and general government contracting and the procurement lifecycle, from bids and proposals, contracts, and grants; contract negotiation; government agency relations; supplier vetting and onboarding, and overall compliance with goals, policies, laws, and regulations.
Myrtha holds a Master’s degree in Science Management from St. Thomas University; a Bachelor of Individualized Studies (BIS) degree in Contract Management from George Mason University; and certifications in procurement, contracts compliance, and contracts management from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP).
As an active part of her South Florida community, Myrtha is a member of the National Contract Management Association; a founding board member of Miami Shores People of Color (South Florida People of Color); Sosyete Koukouy (Haitian Cultural Organization); the Miami Book Fair, and the Little Haiti Book Festival. She is fluent in English, French and Haitian Kreyol.
