As small business owners, we are often called to navigate the complex world of public policy.  During this global pandemic alone, a significant number of small businesses had to apply for federal aid for the first time just to stay afloat. There are currently bills in the Senate and House dealing directly with employer rights and requirements amid COVID-19, and if they are signed into law, they will change the way we do business.

How can we understand and keep up with it all? How can we drill down to our small business core values and use those as guides when heading to the voting booth this November? How can we know which candidates are willing to fight for the rights of small business owners, and particularly women-owned small businesses? How can we get past the theatrics and identify the real issues?
