If you answered yes to these questions, consider being a part of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Speaker Line Up!

Proposal to Speak Overview:


The RFP process serves to identify speakers and topic facilitators for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) South Florida Chapter meetings. As speaking opportunities emerge, NAWBO will utilize the RFP’s to schedule presenters. Applicants can submit proposals for multiple topics. NAWBO’s policy is not to financially reimburse speakers. NAWBO cannot pay an honorarium, travel expenses, or other costs associated with your presentation. Presenters benefit from exposure through press, e-newsletters, social media, attendees and the NAWBO South Florida website. Each educational event has different goals, objectives, and audiences. The NAWBO SFL Board of Directors will decide the best fit for speakers and presentation topics.

 

NAWBO’s events are driven by goals to:

  • Educate the audience on topics that trending and of importance to the membership

  • Provide networking opportunities

  • Increase organizations exposure

  • Provide high quality, knowledgeable speakers

  • Promote professional and personal development

Speaker Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality presentations

  • Engage attendees through audience participation and discussion

  • Provide a picture, topic summary and bio for marketing purposes

  • Ensure that the presentation is not perceived as an “infomercial”

  • Promote event to network online and offline

NAWBO Responsibilities:

  • Promote the event through a variety of outlets

  • Coordinate with speaker regarding special needs for presentation
