Jennifer R. Hudson, APR

President, ThinkBeyond Public Relations

Jennifer is on a mission to change the world one PR pro at a time. As a strategic communications advocate, trainer, mentor, consultant and speaker, her superpower is helping PR leaders step boldly into their role as the trusted advisor every organization needs.

During her 25-year career in corporate communications, Jennifer has always sought to broaden the role of public relations. She leads trainings and workshops on core values, vision, and mission; strategic communications planning; and corporate messaging.

In her signature program, Corporate Messaging for Communicators, Jennifer shows experienced PR pros how to engage the varied, diverse voices behind brands so they can help organizations create more authentic, inclusive communications.

She has spoken at Public Relations Society of America chapter events, on podcasts and in magazine interviews about the need for PR pros to embrace strategic communications as a de facto approach to their work.

Jennifer is a certified mentor and coach with The Venture Mentoring Team, Radical Partners and 1909 Accelerator, which support entrepreneurs and social impact leaders. She is past president of PRSA Greater Fort Lauderdale and a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Jennifer has also been a member, board director, or committee member with various nonprofits and professional associations in South Florida.

Fluent in Spanish, she has worked throughout Latin America and lived in Spain, England and Mexico. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and a master’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of North Texas. She is also accredited in public relations (APR).

Jennifer adores spending time with her family, delicious food (usually healthy and organic), exercise, and all things Spain.

Renee Scott

Renee is Co-Founder of DPI, LLC. Renee focuses on building inclusive & safe spaces in the workplace through transforming company cultures & her community.

Renee is also an entrepreneurial trailblazer in the insurance industry. She is owner of Renee Scott Insurance in Tampa, Florida. She is currently President of BNI (Business Network International) Powerhouse Chapter.

Carla Harris

As the CEO & Managing Director of The People Institute, Carla's sole mission is to help companies and organizations serve clients better by focusing on the dynamics of workplace culture and cultivating synergy across teams. In 2020 Carla began hosting the Racial Awareness & Cultural Equity (R.A.C.E.) Town Halls to address the lack of structural diversity in companies, government agencies, and community organizations. As a result of the town halls, The People Institute created the Corporate Diversity Challenge which is a six-month challenge companies can accept to proactively move forward in becoming a 21st Century Workplace.

Gina Cadogan

Gina Cadogan, President of Cadogan Law, represents employers and employees with workplace legal issues, including providing legal advice and representation for claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, overtime, violations of non-compete agreements, whistleblower issues and employee disability and leave issues. Gina regularly provides advice and counsel to clients on complex and routine personnel matters. Prior to forming Cadogan Law in 2005, Gina practiced labor employment law at large Am. Law Top 100 law firms. Gina is a board member of Florida Bar’s Labor and Employment Section, the Diversity and Inclusion Co-Chair of the Federal Bar Association (Broward Chapter), Past President of NAWBO (So. Fla Chapter), Cohort Ambassador for

Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business Owners, and member of the Caribbean Bar Association. Gina received her law degree from Emory University School of Law in 1999 and served on the Moot Court Board and was a recipient of the Order of the Advocates. She graduated from the University of Florida in 1996, with dual degrees, magna cum laude, and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key Honor Societies. She is admitted to the Florida Bar, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
